School Begins: Tuesday, September 2, 2025
We are excited to welcome all students back for the 2025–2026 school year. Please carefully review the schedule for the first day of school, as there are some important changes this year:
- Grades 9–12:
All students in Grades 9 through 12 are required to attend a mandatory Welcome Back Assembly in the Large Gym. Attendance is compulsory. Please see schedule below. - Grade 8:
Grade 8 students will attend school from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
The schedule will include a Grade 8 Assembly, followed by an Orientation Session from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Timetables (schedules), locker instructions, and agendas will be distributed during orientation. - Tours For New Students starts at 1pm – meet in Commons
REMINDERS:
Locker Information
If students are interested in using a locker they can visit the following webpage to choose a locker https://centralburnaby.lockergm.net/. The locker database will be available Wednesday, August 27th, for all students. Login using your student number as the user id and password. Grade 8s will receive their locker information on Sept 2nd.
MyEducation
Students MUST log in to MyEducation (click https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do)and access their class schedule prior to coming to school on Wednesday, September 3rd. Please be aware that the parent view does NOT provide complete information on your child’s timetable, so it is essential that your child log into their own account to access this information. The MyEdBC portal will open on the evening Friday, August 29th.
