Students who attain a minimum final mark of 70% (Industry Standard pass mark) will receive the following Post Secondary and Secondary school credits:
– 28 Secondary School elective credits
– Foodsafe certification
- Industry Training Authority, Cook Training Level 1 Technical Training certification.
- 120 hours of practical, work-based credit toward the Level 1 Apprenticeship requirement of 1800 hours.
Students who attain a final mark between 50% and 60% will receive Secondary School credits only. All students will benefit from the work experience which may lead to employment as an Apprentice, and students who complete the program in grade 11 are eligible for the Secondary School Apprenticeship program.
