Burnaby Central Secondary will be hosting a Scholarship Writing Workshop and Panel Discussion (#NSNWrites) in collaboration with National Student Network to discuss key topics in preparing and writing scholarship and post-secondary entrance essays. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce high school students to various tools and provide student advice on how to compose a thoughtful and compelling essay that strongly reflects the students achievements and communication skills. Students will also be joined by skilled senior graduate and professional program students who will describe their experiences and share their insights in scholarly writing. The workshop is free of charge and students are encouraged to submit a writing sample to the NSN Editorial Team for feedback and comments. Interested in this event?
