Student Learning Surveys

The Student Learning Survey will be administered to students in grades 10 and 12, parents/guardians of students in grades 10 & 12, and all school staff. We encourage parents/guardians to participate in this survey, as the results are important in identifying and celebrating current strengths, as well as determining where the school needs to focus improvement. The surveys contain standard questions from the Ministry of Education – in addition, questions from the school and/or district that focus on local conditions or issues may be included.

 

The survey is completed electronically, can be done from any computer with internet access, through the following link:

PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Please ensure to scroll down to the “Parents” section and complete the “Direct Access – no logon number required” section on the right-hand side. Please select “41 Burnaby” for District and the name of the school is Burnaby Central Secondary.  Note:  You do not need a logon number to complete this survey.  The survey is available in English, French and 16 other languages.

STUDENTS:  Please login under the “Students” section.  Please select “41 Burnaby” for District.  Students Logon # is their student PEN (Personal Education Number).  Student’s PENs can be found on their myed accounts as well as on all report cards.

The survey site will be open until April 29, 2023.  Parents/Guardians can complete surveys on their own time.  All responses are anonymous and confidential.  Please contact Burnaby Central’s main office if you have any difficulty using the online survey.
