A recent Health Canada survey showed that 23% of students in grades 7-12 have tried an electronic cigarette. In response to this alarming statistic, Health Canada has initiated the Consider the Consequences awareness tour of Canadian High Schools.
The Health Canada Consider the Consequences awareness tour of High Schools is a one-day visit by a team of young ambassadors. The team sets up an interactive maze that students move through to find dead ends that uncover the hidden dangers of vaping. Upon completion of the experience, a completed handout will qualify each student for a branded giveaway of their choice.
The Tour will be at Burnaby Central on November 26, 2019. We will offer this experience to all of our students through our Physical Health and Education classes.
